Four long-form pieces covering the four questions that matter most when learning AI
The complete path to learning AI from scratch: from awareness to income
Danque Technology AI News · Core method · about 6 minutes
"I want to learn AI, but I have no idea where to start." That is the sentence we hear most often at our workshops. The problem is not that AI is hard — it is that most people interpret "learning AI" as "learning a technology", so they get stuck on the very first question: do I need to learn programming, and is my maths good enough?
In fact, for 90% of working professionals, the right starting point is not technology. It is awareness.
Stage 1 · Awareness: understand what AI can do for you
The goal here is not to master any tool, but to build judgement: what AI can and cannot do today, and how people in your industry are already using it. The most effective way is to attend an on-site AI workshop — watching someone do in fifteen minutes what normally takes you half a day has far more impact than reading ten articles.
- Understand global AI trends and the national policy direction
- Hands-on experience: build a small game and run automated lead generation with no prior knowledge
- Form a judgement: which parts of my job are most worth handing to AI
Time investment: half a day to one day.
Stage 2 · Hands-on tools: let AI save you time first
Do not buy the most expensive course straight away. Spend one to two weeks getting comfortable with mainstream conversational AI tools so they genuinely save you time — drafting emails, outlining, summarising meeting notes, generating spreadsheet formulas. The only goal at this stage is to build the reflex: when something comes up, ask AI first.
This step is often underestimated. Once AI has saved you three to five hours a week, you get the positive feedback that keeps you going; without it, most people quit within two weeks.
Time investment: one to two weeks, 30 minutes a day.
Stage 3 · Certification: structure plus credibility
The biggest problem with learning AI from scattered short videos is that the knowledge never becomes a system — and every new tool means starting again. This is where structured study pays off.
At the same time, a certificate from a directly affiliated unit of a national ministry can serve as proof of competence in job hunting, promotion, professional title assessment and enterprise qualification applications. Danque Technology's AI certification training covers the full path from entry to advanced level:
- Non-technical roles: Generative AI Application Specialist, Generative AI Designer, OPC Chief Operations Officer
- Technical tracks: AI Engineer, AI Agent Engineer, Language Intelligence Engineer
- Management: AI Technology Manager
- Students and young learners: Youth AI Programming
Time investment: about one month at entry level, about three months at intermediate level (4-6 hours a week).
Stage 4 · Application: turn the skill into income
After the learning, the real divide is whether you apply it. There are roughly three routes:
- Internal efficiency — bring AI into your current role and become the person your team turns to. This is the most stable and fastest route.
- Role shift — move into emerging positions such as AI operations, AI design or AI application engineering.
- Side income — deliver AI content, AI lead-generation services or enterprise workflow projects for clients.
In one sentence: build awareness → save time with tools → get structured certification → apply and earn. The order matters, and above all do not start by grinding through technical theory.
If you are not sure which stage you should begin at, open the AI advisor at the bottom right and describe your situation — it will give you a targeted recommendation.
The ten certification tracks explained: which one should I choose?
Danque Technology AI News · Selection guide · about 7 minutes
Danque Technology offers ten AI certification tracks. Most people look at the list and think "there are so many, which one do I pick?" — but the answer is not in the list. It is in your current job.
Start with one question: how far is your work from technology?
Split the ten tracks into three groups and the choice becomes obvious.
Group 1 · Applied (beginner friendly — where most people should start)
- Generative AI Application Specialist: solve real business problems with AI tools, entry to advanced level. Suited to administrators, HR, sales, operations, teachers, founders and most other professionals.
- Generative AI Designer: use AI for graphic, UI and brand visual design. Suited to designers, social media and e-commerce creative roles (beginner / intermediate).
- OPC Chief Operations Officer: enterprise operations and process optimisation in the AI era, suited to operations leads and managers (advanced).
- Youth AI Programming: AI awareness and programming basics for school students (beginner).
Group 2 · Technical (requires some hands-on ability)
- AI Engineer: AI system development and engineering, from model training to deployment, entry to advanced level.
- AI Agent Engineer: agent development and deployment — building systems that decide and act on their own (beginner to advanced).
- Language Intelligence Engineer: natural language processing, large language model fundamentals and NLP engineering (beginner to advanced).
- AI Trainer: model training and data annotation, focused on data governance and model tuning.
Group 3 · Management and specialty
- AI Technology Manager: bridging R&D and commercial delivery, driving innovation into results (advanced). Suited to technical leads, project managers and start-up partners.
- AI Agent Application Specialist: putting agents to work in customer service, marketing and office scenarios (specialty certification).
Match your job
- Administration / HR / finance → Generative AI Application Specialist
- Sales / marketing / operations → Generative AI Application Specialist + AI Agent Application Specialist
- Designer / social media / e-commerce → Generative AI Designer
- Programmer / technical enthusiast → AI Engineer or AI Agent Engineer
- Manager / founder → AI Technology Manager or OPC Chief Operations Officer
- Have children → Youth AI Programming
- Not sure yet → start with Generative AI Application Specialist (entry level): lowest cost, broadest applicability
One practical suggestion: if you are still hesitating, do not agonise over the track — attend a free AI workshop first. Once your awareness is in place, the choice becomes natural.
On pricing, the AI tracks follow unified guidance prices by level: entry CNY 950, beginner CNY 2,100, intermediate CNY 3,200, advanced CNY 4,200; Youth AI Programming (beginner) is CNY 3,200; the AI Agent Application Specialist specialty is CNY 2,980. Full details are on the Enroll page.
What the MIIT-system AI certificate is really worth: who issues it, how to verify it, what it is for
Danque Technology AI News · Authoritative guide · about 6 minutes
"Is this certificate recognized nationally?" — the question we are asked most before enrolment. Here is a direct answer.
Who issues it?
After Danque Technology learners complete their training and pass the assessment, they receive a vocational skills certificate issued by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology or the Culture Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Both are units directly affiliated with MIIT — talent-service and vocational-competence certification bodies within the national ministry system, not social organizations or industry associations.
Danque Technology itself is a strategic partner of the AI & Digital Industry Base of the MIIT Talent Exchange Center and an accredited industrial and information technology online talent-training partner, with formal authority to organize and deliver the corresponding training and certification cooperation.
Where does the value show up?
- Job applications: certification from a ministry-affiliated unit is strong supporting evidence of professional competence during CV screening and interviews
- Promotion and appraisal: some employers count vocational competence certificates towards promotion and performance review
- Professional titles: usable as supporting material for technical competence and continuing-education hours
- Enterprise qualifications: when a company applies for relevant qualifications or bids for projects, its team's certifications serve as proof of capability
- Student portfolios: the youth track certificate can support a student's overall quality assessment and technology specialism
How do you verify authenticity?
- Each certificate carries the issuing body's name and a certificate number, verifiable through the issuing body's official channels
- Enrolment requires ID, diploma and photograph documents, reviewed and filed centrally by the institution, so certificate information corresponds one-to-one with the holder
- If you have any doubt about a certificate or credential, you are welcome to request the original documents from Danque Technology for verification
A rational note: a certificate is evidence of ability, not a substitute for it. It can win you more opportunities among equally qualified candidates, but long-term development depends on whether you can actually put AI to work and create value.
Five common mistakes in learning AI: where 90% of people get stuck
Danque Technology AI News · Pitfall guide · about 5 minutes
After running many workshops, we noticed that almost everyone who fails to learn AI has fallen into one of these five traps.
Mistake 1: believing you must learn programming first
Most people do not need to. Using AI tools to solve problems (Generative AI Application Specialist) and building AI systems (AI Engineer) are two entirely different paths. The first needs no technical background; only the second requires programming. Confusing the two is the single biggest reason people give up before they even start.
Mistake 2: collecting instead of practising
Two hundred saved AI tools and tutorials, fewer than five actually used. AI is a hands-on craft — reading a hundred tutorials is worth less than using it ten times. The test is simple: did you use AI to complete one real piece of work this week?
Mistake 3: chasing new tools instead of core skills
AI tools turn over every six months; you will never keep up. What endures are two abilities: describing a requirement clearly (prompt thinking) and judging the quality of AI output. Tools go out of date; those two do not.
Mistake 4: using AI as a search engine
"Look up today's weather for me" — that wastes AI. Its value lies in generating and transforming: drafting proposals, running analysis, editing copy, organising data, writing code. Treat it as a search box and you will never feel its power.
Mistake 5: learning without applying, waiting to be "ready"
The most regrettable one. You finish the course, set it aside, and three months later it is gone. The right approach is to apply each piece the moment you learn it — even if it is just having AI draft an email or summarise meeting notes. It only counts as learned once it is in use.
Three suggestions for beginners: ① attend a workshop to build awareness; ② use AI to complete one real task every day; ③ pick one track for structured certification so scattered knowledge becomes a system.
